GOOD BUDS Timewarp is built on Texada Timewarp heirloom genetics — a strain that originated on Texada Island in the 1970s and stayed a clone-only variety within BC's Gulf Islands community for decades.
When GOOD BUDS' original mother plants died, the team chose to rebuild rather than replace: Crossing in a small amount of outside genetics (roughly 25%) and backcrossing over several generations to restore the original Timewarp character while improving potency and robustness. The terpene profile shifted along the way — total terpenes run 2.9–3.4%, myrcene-dominant (1.0–1.6%), with caryophyllene, linalool, bisabolol, and humulene behind it. THC now tests at 28.3–30.5%. It's grown outdoors on Salt Spring Island in FVOPA Certified Organic living soil, irrigated entirely with rainwater, and harvested late September through early October.

Dark cherry and orange citrus, with a soft floral finish. Myrcene-dominant, but the sensory experience is clearly cherry-citrus-floral. Bisabolol (0.19–0.41%) adds a smooth, sweet-citrus finish that's unusual for a BC heirloom-derived strain.

Timewarp is sativa-leaning. The original Texada Timewarp is a sativa-dominant BC heirloom, and our phenotype preserves that heritage — one of the few genuinely sativa-leaning outdoor strains in Canada's regulated market.
-
Outdoors on Salt Spring Island, BC — the same Gulf Island chain as Texada Island, where the original Timewarp heirloom was developed. Grown in FVOPA Certified Organic living soil, irrigated with rainwater. Harvest runs late September to early October.

Standard Texada Timewarp tests in the high teens to low 20s for THC. Ours tests at 28–31% consistently. The aroma has shifted from lemon-pine to dark cherry and orange zest. The myrcene-dominant foundation, sativa structure, and outdoor hardiness are preserved from the original.

Timewarp isn't related by direct lineage to any well-known market strain, but it shares real terpene and heritage territory with several — Blue Dream is the strain we've published a direct comparison against. → If You Like Blue Dream, You Might Like Timewarp
