Mango Cake
what is it?
Mango Cake is GOOD BUDS' cross of Mango Taffie and Wedding Cake, bred to carry the tropical character of the original Mango Taffie line while increasing potency and bud density. Mango Taffie itself came out of GOOD BUDS' own breeding program on Salt Spring Island; Wedding Cake genetics (Triangle Kush × Animal Mints, from Seed Junky Genetics) bring the added density and cannabinoid strength.
Lab testing across indoor lots shows 28–32% THC and 2–3.5%, with total terpenes running 3–4.5% — terpinolene-dominant, which puts the aroma in the same family as Jack Herer, but warmer and more tropical, with a fresh citrus top note and a creamy, vanilla-leaning finish from the Wedding Cake side of its lineage.
It's grown indoors in living soil beds that have been in continuous use since 2019 at the Salt Spring Island facility — the same organic soil system used across the farm, which is part of why the cannabinoid and terpene numbers stay consistent lot to lot.

We grow each strain where it performs best. Mango Cake's bud structure and flavour are at their best indoors. Gluerangutan and Timewarp are different — both actually perform better outside, which is a rarity among contemporary cannabis strains.
